ATTORNEY PAMELA CAVE

Pamela Cave was born in Rhode Island and is the single-parent of six children. Her five adult children are involved in the legal profession and/or government service. She is a published author, media contributor, and has testified on Capitol Hill, and, in Richmond, several times, on issues related to child support and family matters. She’s also worked with members of the Virginia Legislature to draft child support and family-related legislation. She is a first-degree black belt in tae kwon do.

Pamela Cave has been working in the practice of family law since 1999. She graduated from the DC School of Law in 1999 and has been working, consistently, from that point forward in the family law genre. She has twenty-three years of experience and has handled complex trials, cases involving parental alienation, bi-coastal custody issues, custody disputes spanning between Virginia and several foreign countries, and has a positive record of litigation success at both the trial and appellate levels.

Most of all, Pamela Cave is direct and serious with her assessments, opinions, and approach. She works diligently to research and effectively plan trial strategies, even in the most technical of cases. Her cases have been used on repeated occasions in continuing education courses for lawyers and judges. She takes tremendous pride in working diligently, effectively, and in a cost-efficient manner; however, she will never make promises she cannot keep.
